We moved to Wrightsville in 2018 after many years of searching for the right piece of property that would allow us the space to create a doggy oasis.

At Oak Hill Farm, our motto is "where dogs are family" because we know they are so much more than just pets. It has always been a challenge to find safe, reliable, and affordable pet care when you need it. So we've set out to create an overnight dog stay for your beloved furry family member to be as comfortable as possible while you are traveling.

We are dog people, our three hounds keep us busy but we love living life on the farm: room to roam, wildlife to watch, and quiet nights with fantastic views.

Scott is a retired industrial arts teacher who takes pride in the wood-working, metal work, and design of the barn conversion. In his spare time he enjoys hunting, fishing, sporting dog training, baseball, and spending time with his four grandsons.

Diana currently works at a local hospital in nursing case management. Her love of dogs started at a young age and she can often be found looking for their next rescue. In her spare time she enjoys taking walks in Sam Lewis State Park, biking the Turkey Hill Trail, and spending time with her children and grandchildren.

Together Scott & Diana have five children, four grandchildren, and 2 grand dogs. They both enjoy traveling.

Juno.jpg
Juneau is a 10 year old German Short Hair Pointer. She's always looking for her next big adventure and enjoys her time in the field on bird hunts with Dad. Once the only "child" has now gotten used to being the big sister to her two hound brothers.

LIKES: Peanut Butter Bones
DISLIKES: Not being active
Buddy.jpg
Buddy is an almost 7 year old Redbone Coonhound/Shepherd mix who was rescued from Arkansas. Buddy along with his 6 brothers & sisters were abandoned and found in a drainage ditch. Don't let his big "Scooby" size scare you, he's the biggest lover.

LIKES: Snuggles of any kind
DISLIKES: Loud noises
Blaze.jpg
Blaze is a 5 year old Sharpei mix who was also rescued from Arkanas. Poor Blaze had a rough start  when he was shot in the head. The bullet went through his nose, between his eyes, & lodged in his shoulder. Fully recovered, this little guy has a lot of spunk & love!

LIKES: Protecting Mom & Dad
DISLIKES: Not getting treats first
